For these finest of perfume ingredients, one must still grow fields of flowers and extract the scents in the natural way, using methods from the old French origins of modern perfumery, based in Grasse, France and originated by famous perfumers such as René le Florentin and El Alziary. Live flower buds are harvested and placed onto solid fats, and replaced every few days before they wilt. Only the first bloom fragrances are captured, and with it, the scent of rain, wind, spring, new life, and new hope.
